FEAR

When Fear Shouts, Let Truth Speak Louder

God is in control of everything,

including what scares you.

“Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be afraid,

for I am your God.” – Isaiah 41:10

Nothing can separate you

from Christ.

“Neither death nor life… nor anything else in all creation will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” – Romans 8:38–39

Your value isn’t based on your courage—it’s anchored in His righteousness.

“He made the one who did not know sin to be sin for us, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God.” – 2 Corinthians 5:21

A Message for the Anxious:

Hey, take a breath.

If your heart is racing, your stomach’s tight, or your mind won’t stop spinning—this is for you. Fear can make everything feel bigger, louder, more urgent than it really is. It can even start to convince you that you’re alone in it.

But listen—you are not alone, and fear doesn’t get the final word.

God says “Do not fear, for I am with you.” He’s not asking you to be fearless on your own—He’s promising to walk with you in the fear. And He has never failed to keep a promise.

Maybe you’re afraid of what’s coming. Or what might not come. Or what might fall apart. But God’s sovereignty means nothing is out of His control—not even the things you’re scared of. That doesn’t make the fear vanish, but it does remind you that your story is being held by someone who never lets go.

And here’s something even more comforting: your safety isn’t based on your ability to hold it together—it’s based on Christ’s finished work. You are secure not because you’re brave, but because you’re His.

So when fear screams at you, let truth answer. Let it steady your breathing and calm your heart.

Prayer:

God, be my courage when I have none of my own.

Remind me that You are with me—closer than my fear.

Let Your truth speak louder than my anxious thoughts.

Help me to trust in Your power and

promises more than what I feel.

I am Yours, and that is enough. Amen.
